Valley of Flowers is one of the most popular treks in India. Located in foothills of the Himalayas in Uttarakhand, this trek is sought after by trekkers, adventure enthusiasts and pilgrims from June - September. Nestled in the Nanda Devi Biosphere, the Valley of Flowers has been declared to be a UNESCO World Heritage site and is also India's largest natural botanical garden.
This trek is also famous for the second trek one can take up here to Gurudwara Sri Hemkund Sahib located at an altitude of 4,633 m. This also happens to be the world's highest Gurudwara and is situated right infront of a high-altitude lake. This trek is challenging and extremely rewarding.
